We've recently added a classifieds section.
HopsClub Classifieds
We need your ideas!!!
Our website is ever growing. We constantly need new information and ideas to put up.
If you have any pictures, recipes, great brewing ideas, something to sell, or just a random
question you want answered, send it in! We'll take all ideas into consideration.
We've even created a page just for stuff for Selling or Trading.
There will eventually be an actual classifieds section. But that's in the works.
As well as on online recipe database and recipe creator. So keep an eye out for those!
As announced at the meeting, Saturday, June 30 is our annual Picnic.
This year Rick and Shirley have offered to host it. For you who havent
been to their house before, its a beautiful place, and always a good time.
This is a pot-luck style BBQ. So Bring a dish. RSVP to either myself,
Todd - xlcranium@yahoo.com or Rick and Shirley - goharley@comcast.net
I think festivities usually start around 1:00. I plan on sending out more details

Thank you Brewers!
Thanks you to everyone who came out and brewed, brought beer, or
just showed up this past Saturday. We came in with a respectable
75gallons brewed in 9 batches. We even were able to get cleaned up
and done around 3:00.
Congratulations to Rick Davidson, Steve Klinger, John Humphries, and
Matt Powell all for taking home trophies and yeast for winning in the
IronBrewer Tastings. Also a special thanks to Martin Henry Coffee for
helping us out again with coffee!
There is a meeting this Friday... Yes, already. So if you didnt get a
chance to try some of the beers, maybe there will be some left for
then. If not, bring some anyway. I don't know what is planned yet,
but it should be a good time.
June Meeting Review
Thank You to everyone that turned out for tonights meeting. We had a great
Tasting of wheat beers provided by Rick Davidson. Thanks Rick!
We covered American Wheat, Hefe-Weizen, WeizenBock, and DunkleWeizen.
Details of tastings on Hopsclub.com. I think I lost count, but we probably tasted
almost 10 beers? Sheesh.
We also touched on the topic of the "Science of Distilling" which we will be covering
at our July Meeting. (Friday, July 13) For those of you who were interested in Project
"Still", I will be sending out emails accordingly.
A Few Points We Touched On:

Rick and Shirly have been wonderful enough to open their house again to the club
for our annual picnic. For those of you who havent been there before, Its a VERY
good time. I will put directions on the website.
This also is a great opportunity to kick off our summer Brew-Out season.
If you are brewing this summer, and have the room to have some guests.
Let us know. Nothing better than having a few extra hands to finish that keg
and help clean up after a brew!

May Meeting Review
Thanks everyone who showed up to the meeting Friday. No, I did not make it,
and Yes, Lucy is doing fine for those of you who asked.
Bill stepped in and helped
run things, and sounds like it was a pretty easy meeting.
This year, we will continue having meetings during the summer, and
still have our Summer Picnic. Our attendance and new members
have really picked up since last year, so we look forward to a good
summer of brewing.
If anyone is interested in entering the upcoming Pro-Am competition,
and didn't receive information on joining the AHA, let me know. I have
plenty of info.
