JBLM Competition – Postponed

Tacoma, WA 21-March-2020 – In accordance with Washington State regulations due to the COVID-19 outbreak, we must postpone the JBLM Competition. Yesterday we learned that FOB is required to limit the number of people in the building to help prevent the spread of COVID-19. Initially we had been told that because the competition was a private event and the business would be closed during the competition, we would still be able to proceed. This was simply not the case.

We will reschedule the competition as soon as possible. You will be notified by email once we have been able to schedule a new date.

We are being asked, “What will happen next?” The competition is being postponed, not cancelled. We will pickup all of the entries that have been submitted and keep them in a walk-in cold storage cooler until the competition. This includes all the entries that were shipped. Once the new date has been scheduled, we will re-open the drop-off window for a period of time. We understand that many of you have not yet paid and dropped off entries. In order to make it as fair as possible, we are asking that you observe existing deadlines and leave your entries at your drop-off location.

There are many great prizes that have been donated by our sponsors and we are looking forward to passing them on to the volunteers and winners of the competition.

If you have any questions at all, please feel free to ask. We are getting many questions and will answer them as quickly as possible.

Thank you and Cheers!
JBLM Competition Committee
