50/50 Raffle

  • Need to remember to sell tickets at every meeting. $1 each or 6 for $5
  • Un-drawn tickets kept during the year are saved for the EOY drawing

JBLM – Club Competition

  • This competition is scheduled for March 28th, 2020.
  • Bottle sort is scheduled for earlier in the day Friday, March 28; possibly as early as 11AM
  • First round of judging will be held that night by club judges
  • Bottle sort and judging will be held at Fermentation Initiative
  • VOLUNTEERS ARE NEEDED – please sign up to be a judge or a steward
  • Club members are highly encouraged to submit entries
  • Location for competition to be determined

Off Flavor Presentation

  • Ryan Hogaboam will be presenting the next off flavor presentation at the March meeting.

Upcoming Class

  • Adjusting Water for Brewing
    • Will be a combined effort between Doug and David – two very different approaches
    • Date to be determined
  • Rick Gray – Rick will be presenting a class on cheese at the April meeting.

March Brew Challenge – Judging at next club meeting!

  • Style: Lager – Smash +1
    • Great Western 2 row
    • Citra
    • Any other single malt
    • Any other single hop

May Brew Challenge – Open Lager

  • Any style is acceptable
  • There will be a sign up sheet in Slack
  • Check the #brewer_challenge channel in Slack
  • The challenge will be held at the May meeting
